On Saturday evening at the close of the conference, I joined a few other members of the forum for dinner. Following are a few photographs from our dinner. I apologize for the clarity of the pictures, I had to reduce them in size to load them on this page, or they would have taken forever to load. I also did not spell out the names of the other people in the pictures, because I did not want to violate their privacy. Instead, they use their initials, and any of you that are members of our forum will probably recognize the initials as being those of active members. In the next few days I will be publishing here on the website, some of the things that I saw and heard at the 2006 Independent Online Sellers Conference. I may also post some photographs that I took at the conference for your amusement. I will say here that the conference was a lot of fun and informative. It was structured differently than it has been in the past and I think the new structure worked well. Participation by Amazon was great. And while this picture is not from our forum member dinner, it is a little better picture of me. It was taken last month in the Czech Republic and my wife Jarka (pronounced Yarka) is in it too, so you will have a better idea of what I look like.
