Less than a month ago, I launched the Online Bookselling Bookseller Board for customers of my book/software, and we now have over 100 registered members.  I have received many emails thanking me for setting it up and expressing a general feeling that it was a good idea.  I have to say that I am happy it is working out for everyone.  I know it has allowed me to post things for my customers that I didn't really want to put on my website such as unadvertised auctions and other time sensitive announcements that could not wait for me to publish a newsletter.  The biggest advantage I am seeing is the ability of my customers to share their experiences, exchange ideas, and ask each other questions.  I am more than happy to answer customer questions, but sometimes it is better to hear an answer from someone else that is experiencing the same difficulties getting started, the forum allows them to interact with each other.

I also think it has been helpful for my customers to ask questions of my partners at ScoutPal and SpaceWare.  There are none better at the lookup service than Dave of ScoutPal, and Kevin at SpaceWare is without a doubt the expert on inventory management software.  I know that I appreciate their participation in the forum and I am sure from the feedback that I
have gotten from the membership that they appreciate it too.

I hope that if you decide to purchase my book/software that you opt to join the forum too.
